Housewives of O.C.'s New Kid Talks Feuds

Real Housewives of Orange County, Gretchen Bravo/Denis Poroy

Let the catfights begin!

Gretchen Rossi, the newest member of the Real Housewives of Orange County, has no problem saying how she really feels about veteran housewife Vicki Gunvalson.

"I think sometimes Vicki is in her own little world and doesn't pay attention to anyone around her," Gretchen told me this morning. "It comes off very rude and very insensitive."

Case in point: tomorrow's episode, in which the five housewives are driving in a limo to a spa day at Sonya Dakar in Beverly Hills. While Gretchen is telling them how her fiancé, Jeff Beitzel, is suffering from acute leukemia, Vicki is preoccupied with work on her laptop. (Jeff passed away in September, shortly after the season had wrapped filming.)

"Vicki is just typing and couldn’t care less about what I'm saying. And then afterward, she's like, 'I don't want be chitchatting about death,' " Gretchen said. "I was like, What?"

And then there are the comments behind her back...

Britney Spears: Looking for a Husband?

Britney Spears Glamour

Britney Spears hasn’t given up on love. The former Mrs. Kevin Federline says she’d like another walk down the aisle.

“In five years I would like to be married and have a father figure for my kids, someone who is a provider and can be really stable,” Spears says in the new issue of Glamour magazine.

In another apparent jab at K-Fed, Ms. Spears says, “It’s hard doing it on your own.”

But potential suitors, beware—Spears is not the wild child party girl you may want her to be. Even though she had an early birthday celebration last night at club G-A-Y in London, the comeback pop princess swears she’s over that scene.

Kanye West's Elvis Presley Complex

As you may have heard, Kanye West announced at the American Music Awards that he wants to be the next Elvis. Then West had to take it even further.

"When I said the statement, 'I want to be Elvis,' I really should have thought that out more because that statement was actually really incorrect," West told E! News' Ryan Seacrest Tuesday. "Actually, the true statement was 'I want to be better than Elvis.' "

So does West have what it takes to get anywhere near Elvis' stratosphere? We talked to some industry insiders to find out...

You might not think  Ne-Yo and Barbra Streisand have many fans in common.

But just wait until next month when Streisand is honored at the Kennedy Center Honors gala.

I've just got word that Ne-Yo will be one of the performers paying tribute to the legendary diva. Yes, the 26-year-old R&B crooner will be singing a Streisand tune, according to a source.

He's not the only performer I'm hearing about...

OMG! Housewives of O.C.'s Jeana Is on a Budget!

Real Housewives of Orange County Mitchell Haaseth/Bravo

The economic hard times have hit The Real Housewives of Orange County.

Real-estate agent Jeana Keough (above, in green) admits times are a little tough for her right now—relatively speaking, of course.

“I plan to sell a few cars and not buy any new ones,” Keough told me yesterday from her home in the O.C. “And I’m not buying any new shoes, which is fine because I have enough shoes to last me at least 20 years.”

Oh, and she’s also been ditching restaurants for dining at home. “I cook,” she says. “Groups of people come over...Instead of spending a lot of money, we do it at home.”

Whether or not the belt tightening is going to be highlighted in the new season (starting tonight!) is yet to be seen, but Keough predicts most of the focus will be on the new hottie blond housewife, fellow real-estate agent Gretchen Rossi.

Jonas Brothers Do Mayer, Marley and the Beatles

Jonas Brothers ABC/CRAIG SJODIN

The Jonas Brothers keep going...and going...and going.

Fresh from the American Music Awards, where they were named Favorite Breakthrough Artist and performed "Tonight" (above),  the trio capped off the festivities with a free three-hour 24-song concert at the House of Blues on the Sunset Strip.

They decided to put together the gig at the last minute on Saturday, their rep tells me. After promoting it on the radio and their MySpace page, about 1,000 fans were already lined up several hours before Kevin, Joe and Nick even arrived.

And the fans got more than just the trio performing all of their hit songs.

Jonas Brothers Wanna Make Music With Kanye

Jonas Brothers , Kanye West, Red Carpet AMA 2008 ABC/ADAM LARKEY

The Jonas Brothers want to work with Elvis—the wannabe Elvis, that is.

Nick Jonas revealed at yesterday's American Music Awards that he and his singing siblings think they may have a future in hip-hop. "We think Kanye [West]'s new record sounded really cool, so that's someone," Nick said when asked who they'd like to team up with.

But Nick doesn't want to rush into things. "Usually it's cool to get to know somebody as a friend before forming a work relationship with them," he said.

But if Kanye doesn't pan out, there's someone else waiting in the wings. Read on to find out who...

NeNe: I'm Housewives of Atlanta's Breakout Star

It takes a lot to scare NeNe Leakes.

The outspoken and seemingly fearless star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta admits her newfound fame has left her a bit on edge.

“I do like people coming up to me, but it’s a little scary,” Leakes tells me. “I didn’t think I was going to be scared...I literally cannot leave the house. Every time I leave the house, I end up on somebody’s website.”

But in the very next breath, however, Leakes relishes the attention. “I am the breakout star,” she boasts. “I love it! I love it! I’m glad everybody could feel and see my genuineness and my realness.”

And nowhere is that genuineness and realness more evident than on tomorrow’s sometimes very heated reunion show, during a verbal smackdown with her former best friend, aspiring country singer Kim Zolciak.

Read on to learn what Leakes has to say about feuding with Kim, her celebrity fans (Anderson Cooper isn’t the only one) and making babies with her gay best friend.
